How you became involved in the game.
Got involved as a player. Played in a few local tournaments and we got beat 21-0 4 straight games. I still loved the game and started throwing more and more in my backyard. Then I met Mark Lambert and introduced me to the real competitive side of cornhole. I loved it!
How long have you been running events?
Since 2008.
What’s the largest tournament you’ve hosted?
A 42 player singles tournament in Belpre, OH. This was my first tournament to try out the new tournament bracket software I got and was only expecting 10-15 players. Everything went great! I usually have 26-28 teams in my big guaranteed payout tourneys.
Have you ever run any leagues?
No.
What type of events have you run?
Everything. I did a charity tournament earlier this year. I didn't charge them anything to run it for them. Most are fundraisers and I they're usually an open tournament where anyone can be partners. I tried doing a socials tournament twice and only had 2 teams each time.
How far are you willing to travel to host an event for someone?
I just drove 2 1/2 hrs to Fayetteville, WV to host the Bridge Day tournament. That's about as far as I'm willing to drive. That was about 140 miles.
